At Flashback Art Fair, one of Italy’s most dynamic art events, Ciacek Gallery proudly presents the work of two Polish women artists, highlighting the gallery’s commitment to international dialogue and rediscovery of post-war artistic voices from Central Europe.
The display unites two distinct yet deeply intertwined artistic worlds: Barbara Levittoux–Świderska’s evocative paintings capturing the streets of 1980s Warsaw, and Domicella Bożekowska’s sculptures dedicated to her beloved Fuga – a half-wolf from the Bieszczady Mountains, rescued and cared for by the artist in her home in Warsaw’s Żoliborz district.
Bound by friendship and a shared creative vision, the two artists lived and worked in close poximity in Żoliborz. The exhibition unfolds as a story of artistic kinship, exploring the dialogue between art, nature, and human emotion.
